PRESS RELEASE - January 25, 2010

Dear Friends,

In an interview with Jane Ann Morrison of the Las Vegas Review Journal last fall I stated I would withdrawal from the U.S. Senate race in January if my campaign had failed to raise at least $100,000.

I have lived my life in a manner where my word is respected and trusted. To that end, I am formally announcing my withdrawal from the U.S. Senate race.

Contrary to a release by Chuck Muth, I am not supporting any individual candidate at this time. My goal is, and has been, to do everything within my power to see that Harry Reid does not go back to Washington D.C. as our senator.

I am offering to open my home up to any of the Republican Candidates to host "Meet and Greets" so that my supporters and local citizens can choose the candidate they think best represents their ideas and values.

After the primary election, I will campaign actively for whoever the candidate is to send Harry back to Searchlight.

There is a rumor that I intend to run against Assemblyman Tom Grady, this is not true.

I want to thank all of my supporters, contributors, and the citizens of Nevada for the opportunity to participate in this critical election.

I intend to remain active in the Republican Party.

Thank you, and God Bless.

Dr. Robin

DO NOT LET PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS, ATTORNEYS, AND SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS DECIDE THE FATE OF OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.

I have spent 25 years as a family practice physician.  Throughout that time I have fought for patients' rights to access necessary tests and medications.  I have spent hours on the phone trying to obtain authorization from insurance companies to allow patient referrals.  I have argued for patient benefits.

I am acutely aware of the trouble our health care system is in. Our current administration is focusing on National Health Insurance.  There are many additional issues to consider, including tort reform, insurance company profits, and patient accountability... to name just a few.

Having been a small business owner with 7 employees I am also aware of the cost of “doing business”.  I believe small businesses are the backbone to this country.  We need to help this group survive.  Not over tax and over regulate.

It is time to start thinking outside of the traditional political box.  If we defeat Harry Reid but send another politician to Washington we will have done nothing to get our state and our nation out of the quagmire we are in.
